Observing Bioethics by Fox & Swazey

For those interested in bioethics and its well-known bioethicists, I highly recommend reading the book by Fox, Renée C.; Swazey, Judith P. Observing Bioethics. Oxford/New York: Oxford University Press, 2008. The book was based on a series of interviews Fox and Swazey did with a number of well-known bioethicists. This book is an excellent primary source material for any undergraduate and graduate classes in medical ethics/bioethics.

Authors Renée C. Fox, a sociologist, and Judith P. Swazey, a historian, became a "team of two" in this ethnological study of the new field of bioethics, that began with the foundation of the Hastings Center in 1969, and two years later, the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.
